Forkcourt gives neighborhood food halls a website that helps visitors agree on where to meet, even when everyone wants something different to eat. Independent kitchens have their own menus, photographs, stories and opening hours, while the hall brings them together through a searchable directory, a clear floor plan and a practical visit planner.
The design takes its cues from painted stall signs, enamel plates and shared tables. Original food photography sits alongside a sunny courtyard, a working kitchen and a lively communal dining room. The result gives a food hall operator a complete starting point for presenting the vendors, the venue and the reasons people come back.
A useful home for every kitchen
Give each operator room to be recognized. The 6 vendor pages cover noodles, tacos, wood-fired pizza, falafel, coffee and soft serve, with individual menu sections, prices, dietary descriptions and weekly hours. Visitors can search by a dish or vendor name, combine their search with a craving filter, and return to the full directory when their plans change.
The hall map connects stall letters to the same vendor pages, with a linked text directory beneath it. Venue pages explain shared seating, the courtyard, arrival routes, amenities and how ordering works at separate counters.
Help groups plan a visit
The visit planner connects the chosen date and arrival time to each stall's schedule. If a visitor changes the time, compatible choices stay selected and unavailable stalls are removed with a clear explanation. Visitors can review the plan, edit it and create printable visit notes. Early coffee-window access and larger-group guidance appear when relevant.
A separate group brief helps visitors summarize an occasion, group size and preferred day before contacting the hall. Both flows prepare useful notes; they do not place food orders or reserve seating. The events page adds recurring music, quiz and makers-market examples with visible dates and a defined schedule horizon.

A visual identity that carries through the hall
The centered home-page invitation is framed by food photographs, followed by a row of distinct vendor names. Menu pages give dishes and prices room to read, while practical pages put hours, access information and planning controls first. Rounded display lettering, generous photographs and the shared color system keep the site coherent without making every page use the same arrangement.
Keyboard access and clear interaction
The template includes semantic page landmarks, labeled native controls, visible focus indicators and descriptive image alternatives. Mobile navigation supports Escape with focus return. The hall map and wide documentation examples sit in named regions that can be scrolled with the keyboard. Field feedback explains what needs correcting, and reduced-motion preferences limit decorative transitions.
Editable source and a practical buyer guide
The ready-made site is accompanied by a self-contained HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript project. Central data files keep vendor names, menus, integer-cent prices, hours, events and media references together. Local fonts and photographs keep the included experience independent of external asset services.
The site content is supported by a buyer guide covering local viewing, source editing, color schemes, image replacement, schedules, contact setup and static hosting. Readable and minified assets are included, with familiar build and validation commands for ongoing customization.
