Codaro - Developer Portfolio & Resume HTML Template

A developer portfolio and resume HTML template for freelance and job-seeking software developers. It is built with HTML5, Bootstrap 5 and plain JavaScript, and shows the work the way hiring teams check it: shipped products with the number each team watches, a career written as a changelog, the real stack, open-source repositories and reviews with faces. A contribution graph runs through the whole page, from the hero to the footer.

Codaro opens straight from the folder with no build step, ships a dark and a light color mode with a header switch that remembers the choice, and shows a live local-time status ("at my desk" or "away until 9 am") so clients know when you are working.

Key Features

  • HTML5 + Bootstrap 5: semantic markup with Bootstrap utility classes for layout
  • 4 Pages: the portfolio home plus a case study, an article and a 404 page
  • 12 Sections: hero, selected work, about, services, stack, experience, open source, reviews, writing, contact, header and footer
  • Dark and Light Mode: one switch, remembered in the browser, applied before the page paints
  • Contribution Graph Hero: your portrait set into six months of activity squares
  • Live Status: local time and working hours computed in the browser, no network calls
  • Section Highlight: the menu marks the section in view while scrolling
  • Case Studies with Results: screenshot, client, role, stack, one result figure and a commit strip each
  • Career as a Changelog: every role a release, with years, a one-line result and tags
  • Availability Calendar: twelve weeks shown as booked, open or holiday
  • Contact Form: project type and budget, inline validation, no layout shift
  • CSS Design Tokens: colors for both modes, type scale and radius set once
  • Local Fonts: Instrument Sans and Geist Mono, no CDN requests
  • Works Offline: opens from the file system, no build tools or server
  • W3C Valid HTML and CSS: every page checked with the Nu HTML Checker
  • No jQuery: plain, unminified JavaScript
  • Documentation Included: installation, structure, colors, images, graph, status and forms

Requirements and Limitations

  • A static HTML template, not a WordPress product. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is enough to customize it.
  • The contact form validates in the browser but does not send email. Connect it to your own form handler before going live.
