Joistnote - Home Inspection HTML Website Template

Give homebuyers a useful first look at the way you inspect and explain a property. Joistnote is a residential home inspection website template for independent inspectors and small inspection businesses. Its annotated house photograph, explorable sample report and service-specific guidance help visitors understand your work before they request a visit.

The 12-page HTML website supports the conversations around buying, selling and new construction. Visitors can compare inspection services, read example findings, collect questions, prepare the property and review an inquiry before sending it through a buyer-configured receiving service.

A report visitors can explore

The sample report presents 6 fictional findings across house systems, with a photograph or diagram, observation, suggested follow-up and inspection limitation. Visitors can combine system and finding-type filters, reset an empty result and save useful questions to print for a later conversation.

The report language separates visible conditions from matters that need further assessment. That distinction carries through the inspection pages, preparation guidance and inquiry experience, giving the website a practical voice suited to residential inspection work.

A clear identity for property inspection

The design takes its character from an inspection record: blue annotations, ruled details, compact system labels and generous property photography. A house illustration is not left to carry every page. Timber framing, attic access, gutter maintenance, plumbing and a fictional inspector give the service and report pages their own visual context.

The 3 palettes preserve the same content and interaction structure while offering different business identities. Visitors choose Light, Dark or Auto from the website; the live preview also lets buyers compare the palettes through Options.

Accessibility features

Semantic landmarks, a skip link, named native controls and visible keyboard focus support navigation through the site. The compact menu and appearance controls support keyboard dismissal and focus return. Inquiry errors identify incomplete fields, and the review step keeps the visitor's details available before submission.

Image alternatives, responsive reading order and reduced-motion styling are included. The report remains readable when scripts are unavailable, while inquiry controls stay disabled with an explanation. These are specific implementation features, not a claim of accessibility certification.

Make it your inspection business

Semantic HTML, modern CSS and vanilla JavaScript keep the site editable without a frontend framework. Business details, inquiry choices, report findings, image mappings and color roles have defined source locations. Readable source and generated assets accompany the minified files used by the ready-made website.

The guide explains local viewing, customization, builds and the inquiry connection contract. Joistnote supplies the frontend; the buyer provides hosting, real business content and the receiving backend. The preview demonstrates the inquiry interface without transmitting requests or arranging appointments.
