An admin dashboard theme in black and white, built on one strict rule: no borders and no box shadows anywhere. Surfaces are told apart by their fill alone — a light gray page, white cards, soft gray insets — and floating elements such as menus, tooltips and toasts are inverted to ink. A fluorescent yellow, used with a light gradient, marks the one figure that matters on each screen; pink and blue are kept for statuses and chart series.

Everything is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There is no framework, no runtime library and no build step: open index.html and it works. An optional npm + PostCSS pipeline is included if you want to edit the CSS sources.

What sets it apart

  • A flat, quiet interface: fills instead of lines, a single highlight color, ABeeZee titles over Instrument Sans text, and JetBrains Mono for every figure so numbers line up in tables and charts.
  • Apps that actually work: a mail client with a reading pane, a chat that sends and receives demo replies, a month calendar with filters and new events, a kanban board with drag and drop, a task list with live progress, a file manager and a contact directory.
  • Dependency-free charts: smooth lines and areas, grouped, stacked and negative bars, donuts and sparklines drawn by a small SVG library written for the theme, with tooltips, resize handling and light/dark colors.

Features

  • Sidebar navigation with collapsible groups, a breadcrumb in the top bar, and a command palette (⌘K or Ctrl+K) to jump to any page or quick action. The sidebar can be hidden on large screens and becomes a drawer on smaller ones.
  • Light and dark mode: light by default, dark mode from the top bar, remembered between visits. Charts redraw in the new colors.
  • Data tables: search, filter chips, sorting, row selection, bulk actions, pagination and live counts — driven by data attributes.
  • Components in vanilla JavaScript: native <dialog> modals and drawers, tabs, segmented controls, dropdown menus, accordions, toasts, file drop zones, one-time code input, a multi-step form with validation.
  • Easy theming: every color, font, radius and spacing value is a CSS custom property in one file. Change the accent with two variables and every highlight card, chip and marker follows.
  • Responsive: checked from 390px phones to large desktop screens.
  • Accessibility practices: skip link, landmarks, visible focus states, keyboard-operable tabs, menus, palette and sortable headers, labeled form fields, text contrast meeting WCAG AA, statuses shown by shape and label rather than color alone, reduced-motion support.
  • Print styles for invoices.

Technical details

  • HTML5, modern CSS (custom properties, native nesting compiled with PostCSS), vanilla JavaScript
  • No jQuery, no Bootstrap, no framework, no runtime library
  • Inline SVG icon set drawn for the theme; product illustrations drawn in CSS, so there are no images to license
  • Validated HTML, commented CSS and JavaScript split by purpose
  • Framework-agnostic markup: move the pages into Twig, Blade, Django or any other template engine — the theme only relies on CSS classes and data attributes
  • HTML documentation: pages, file structure, installation, theming, layout, components, chart API, apps, connecting your data, building the CSS

Requirements and limitations

  • Static front end only: there is no backend, database or authentication. Forms validate in the browser and show a confirmation; apps keep their changes in memory until the page reloads. You connect your own backend or API.
  • Fonts load from Google Fonts. The documentation explains how to self-host them.
  • Demo names, companies, emails and figures are fictional.
