Naseej is a Shopify theme for stores that sell in English and in Arabic. It comes as 22 demo stores, numbered 01 to 22, plus the plain base look. Each one is a complete copy of the theme that opens with that demo's look, so a store starts from the demo closest to its niche and changes the rest in the theme editor.

Arabic is part of the foundation, not a mirrored copy: the layout follows the reading direction, Arabic pages get their own typefaces and type settings, and every demo is written in natural Arabic.

Built for English and Arabic

• Logical CSS throughout: menus, drawers, sliders and arrows follow the language
• Bundled open-licensed Arabic families such as Almarai, Amiri, Cairo, Tajawal and Readex Pro, chosen in the theme settings
• Arabic font files load only on pages that print Arabic letters, so English pages stay light
• Heading scale, line height and body size for Arabic, set apart from the English ones
• Western digits, and no letter spacing or italics forced on Arabic text

Requirements

• A Shopify store with the Online Store sales channel
• For Arabic pages: Arabic added in Shopify under Settings > Languages; Shopify's free Translate & Adapt app translates products and pages
• Optional apps for reviews and subscriptions; the theme shows ratings and selling plans that come from them

Good to know

• Demo products, prices, pictures and copy are sample content and do not come with the theme. Each theme file brings that demo's layout, colours, fonts and section setup; add your own products and pictures.
• Install one theme file as it is (do not unzip it) from Online Store > Themes > Add theme > Upload zip file. You can upload several demos and compare them before publishing one.
• The live preview stores are protected by a store password: naseej

• Bundled fonts are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the full list and notices are in documentation/licenses.md
• The Liquid, CSS, JavaScript and line icons are original work; no third-party theme code, framework or library is included
